Use production templates, not marketplace previews
Confirm the device name, canvas size, bleed, camera opening, and corner radius against the current production template before designing. Give every template a version and source. When supplier tooling or device specifications change, recheck older artwork instead of assuming that the same model label still means the same cutout.
- Template source and revision date
- Visible area and bleed
- Camera and flash positions
- Wrap behavior for soft and hard edges
Separate the subject, safe area, and extendable background
Faces, brand text, and narrative symbols are high-priority elements and should stay away from camera openings and trim edges. Texture, gradients, and extendable backgrounds may enter risk areas. Do not mechanically center every composition; rebalance visual weight around the size and position of each camera module.
Read back every model after batch adaptation
Batch tools can copy layer structures and export rules, but they cannot replace a model-by-model review. Check a thumbnail, a full-size render, and at least one physical sample while logging exceptions. Product imagery should show the named device model and must not imply that every model has an identical composition.
